I was recently very moved by a presentation by Dr. Tau Braun in which he talked, among other things, about biological mechanisms of poisons. I was struck by his point about how poison takes over the biological resources of the victim to harm or kill the victim—while the poisonous animal, who has already invested into producing the poison and biting the victim, conserves its resources.
That is so similar the methods of thieves, predators, and tyrants! That is how they keep masses of people under their domination. After the initial violence that happens during attacks and invasions, they poison people’s hearts and minds through fear, pride, and corruption—and then people themselves become enchanted guards in their own prison.
